Static build - read-only. The audition record ships whole: all 117 candidates
with their blurb, wave, backdrop, verdict, note and full per-pass history, across four review
passes. What the live gallery writes - a verdict, a note, a request for a new candidate - is
intercepted and refused with the reason, so nothing silently no-ops. Every candidate's clip is
bundled and plays, re-encoded for the web from the full 763 MB render set.
how to read this
- The record, not the reel, is the artifact. 68 candidates were accepted and 4 killed;
8 changed verdict between passes, which is the part a finished reel cannot show.
witness_thread is the clearest single case: tweak on pass 1, then kill on
passes 2 and 3. Its clip is bundled.
- A note on an accepted candidate is a critique carried forward, not a rejection - for
example
impact_frame, kept with "the sparkle effect kills it, needs more work
but i like as a starter".
- In the live tool a verdict plus its note wakes an orchestrator agent, which dispatches a
worker to author the change as a data recipe, renders it headless, and returns the new take
to this same page for the next pass.
